Energy Production Study Demonstrates tenKsolar's Advantage over Conventional PV Systems

tenKsolar has published a study demonstrating the energy gain tenKsolar delivers over conventional photovoltaic (PV) systems for various locations throughout the US and, utilizing actual solar irradiance data collected over that time period from those locations, validated the accuracy of tenKsolar's energy prediction models.  

The summary of the study, which can be downloaded here, shows tenKsolar outproduces conventional 10° Tilt rooftop PV Systems by 19% or more and it's energy projection models are accurate to within 2% or better.  Detailed energy production data is also available by contacting tenKsolar. 

Sites utilized in the study were selected to provide data for varied geographic locations around the USA.    The locations include:

2. Mt. Angel, OR

3. Golden, CO - National Renewable Energy Laboratory

4. Leupp, AZ

5. Terrell, NC (Duke Energy)
